What is the difference between a direct INVRPT and a generic INVRPT?
In difference to a direct INVRPT a generic INVRPT should have Btwentyfours GLN (7340117802900) as recipient, and no buyer in the header segment. Direct INVRPT The direct INVRPT is directed to a specific receiver and the supplier send each receiver a unique version of the INVRPT. The header of the message will contain the recipient and buyer GLN of the unique receiver. The direct INVRPT offers the supplier a chance to present different items and quantities to different customers which can be used to prioritize important buyers. The direct INVRPT will be handled as any other message in BOP, no special settings needed. Generic INVRPT The generic INVRPT allow the supplier to only send one INVRPT and, via settings in BOP, distribute the INVRPT amongst its customers. The layout of the message could be identical to the direct INVRPT, the only difference will be the recipient which will be Btwentyfours GLN (7340117802900) and no buyer in the header segment.
