RETANN (Announcement of Return)
Announcement of Return, often referred to as RETANN, is commonly used to announce a party of a return of goods and the reason for it. Valid reasons could be, but are not limited to; repair, damaged goods, re-call, return etc. This message is used to return goods referring to a document such as an order, despatch advice or invoice.
