What can "Generate multiple packages per SKU" under "Delivery draft actions" be used for?

Use “Generate multiple packages per SKU” to split one or many items into multiple packages.

Select “Items” to split by using the checkboxes, or by clicking “Select all”. Not all items selected need to be split.

Click the “Delivery draft actions” button and select “Generate multiple packages per SKU”.

A pop-up window appears, where “BX – Box” is selected by default.

Click to “Choose package type” if in need of create another package type than a box.

The outstanding quantity to split into multiple packages is visible in the "Quantity" column.

Click to decrease the "Quantity per package" or enter the number of quantities that can be packed into a package.

The number of packages will automatically change in the "Packages" column depending on the quantity entered in the "Quantity per package" type box.

If the "Quantity" is not fully divisible with the entered quantity in the "Quantity per package" type box, the remaining quantity will be shown under the number of packages given in the "Packages" column.

In the example above where 8 pcs of "S" are to be split into multiple packages with 4 pcs in each package, 2 packages will be created. There will be 1 package with 4 pcs in each package, 1 * 4 = 4, and 1 package with 2 pcs. Total 1 + 1 package = 2 packages, 4 pcs + 2 pcs = 6 pcs.

In the example above where 8 pcs of “M” are to be split into multiple packages with 4 pcs in each package, 2 packages will be created. There will be 2 packages with 4 pcs in each package, 2 * 4 = 8.

Notice that in the example above "2XL" and “XS” are left unchanged and will not be split into multiple packages.

Click “OK”.

Quantities will be split into multiple packages, and any remaining quantities will be placed in a separate package below each fully packed series of packages.
