How to view models by images in a publication?
Click the "image view" icon to view models by images. Images will be shown ordinally by the model number, and sub model number.
How to upload media to "Storage"?
To upload media, go to "Storage". Drop files from the computer into the “Drag files or click here...”-field or click the same field to browse for files on the computer. The files will be added for upload. Click "Upload files" to start uploading the files. The files will start to upload, marked blue... ...and will be marked green, when uploaded.
How to search for media in "Storage"?
Click the field for "Search", to enter a value to search for. Click "Search". The result of the search will be shown. To search for all uploaded files, search for a period.
How to see how much "Storage" being used"?
How much storage being used is visible in the top right corner of the "Storage" page.
What is the default limit included in the "Storage" service?
By default, 5 GB of storage is available. Contact advisors@btwentyfour.com to increase the storage limit.
How to add image data in a master data file (PRICAT)?
In the Excel template for master data (PRICAT) there are columns where information for media can be added. Image bank id Reference to the name of uploaded image to Btwentyfour image storage. For more information: How to upload media to "Storage"? Image index In the portal indexes can be mapped toward universal values regarding the image type, angle and priority. Preferably use an index defining these values. If using the "B24 universal Indexes" in a PRICAT, the indexes will be mapped automatically in the platform. For more information: How to map index? What is index mapping? What is "B24 universal Indexes"? Image action Default value is "Add", use "Delete" to remove an image reference from a product. Image is primary Indicates if the specific picture is deemed the product's primary picture/presentation picture (Y/N). Image text Presentation information for product picture in plain text. Image url Can be used as an alternative to uploading media if not using Storage. Note: Media references added via URL:s will only be shown in the platform, not possible to download via the platform.
How to filter products in the image view?
If indexes have been mapped, it is possible to filter products by: * Media * Angles * Priorities In combination with each other, or separate. Note that selectable angles are affected by selected media. Click "All media", to select media to filter by. Click "All angles", to select angle to filter by. Click "All priorities", to select priority to filter by. Click "Apply", to apply the filter. The result of the filtering will be shown. Click "Reset", to reset the filter. Products will be shown as by default.
What can media filtering in the image view be used for?
If a supplier has added the "Storage" service and uploaded media to the storage, the results of the filtering can for example be used to add media to media selections or exporting media. Possible for both buyers and the supplier.
How to "Export all media" via "Actions"?
Click "Actions" to view all options. Select "Export all media" to export all media from a product search, a publication, or a selection. Any filterings will affect the export. Note that only media that is stored in our storage will be exported. Media referred to via URL only will not be exported. Click to select "Export all media", to start exporting all media. A pop-up window appears. It´s possible to add settings for the media export. If no settings are made, the files will be exported with the same name and in the same format as uploaded by the supplier. The settings are the same for both tabs, “Download” and “Export to EDI”. The difference is that it´s possible to select an integration under “Export to EDI”. Available for buyers with an integration. Click to check boxes to name the media thereafter. If checking two or more boxes, the order of the selection made will set the order of naming the media. For example: If checking “Brand” at first, and then “Model number”, the naming will be “Brand_ModelNumber.originalFormat”. If checking “Model number” at first, and then “Brand”, the naming will be “ModelNumber_Brand.originalFormat”. Click to select “File format”, if in need of changing the original format to a preferred format. The example of the naming will change according to the selected format. Click to change “Delimiter” if want to change from the default value “_” to “-“. The example of the naming will change according to the selected delimiter. Click “OK” to start the export. The export of media will start.
How to "Export selected media" via "Selection actions"?
Click a checkbox for a product to select that product. Several products can be selected. When a product has been selected, a floating bar appears at the bottom of the page. In the floating bar, click "Selection actions" to view all options. Click to select "Export selected media", to start exporting selected media. A pop-up window appears. It´s possible to add settings for the media export. If no settings are made, the files will be exported with the same name and in the same format as uploaded by the supplier. Settings are the same for both tabs, “Download” and “Export to EDI”. The difference is that it´s possible to select an integration under “Export to EDI”. Available for buyers with an integration. What is "Storage"?
We have a service for media called “Storage”, where a supplier can upload media and store them in our database. The images can be viewed in a publication and can also be downloaded from the platform by buyers and the supplier. Contact advisors@btwentyfour.com if interested in this service.
