Yes, the PRICAT should preferably be validated, and needs to be published to be send to the receiver.
Go to “Products” – “Publications” to validate and publish the PRICAT.
“IMPORTED – OK” means that the PRICAT have been imported with no generic validation errors. Generic validations exist for all messages and all message senders in BOP.
Generic validations are in place to make sure that all messages are uniform and follow the same logic.
Some examples are check sum validation on EAN or GLN codes, legal currency code checks or that the supplier segment is present in the message header.
All messages, except for PRICAT, that fails the generic validations in BOP will be stopped prior import into the platform.
